When I think about a “tribe” I think about the Native Americans. The word “tribe” makes me think of Native Americans because I have always considered them to be a group of people very connected and close to their families.

I am excited to share my network learning space and create a “tribe” of my own. I am creating my space based around English Language Learners (ELLS). It will act as a space for educators to share their experiences, post effective strategies, and read articles based on best practices for ELL students.

One of my biggest challenges in creating my “tribe” will be connecting my page to social media. I frequently use Twitter and Instagram but will need to learn how to better utilize these spaces in order to advertise and connect my learning space.
